Background and History
ISC is a privately owned steel processing, manufacturing and
bridge fabrication business that was established in 1968. Our
first shop was located in Franklin Park, IL and later expanded to two
facliities, one in Hodgkins, IL and another in Gary, IN.
Our steel processing operation includes blasting, painting,
leveling and grinding steel. Our manufacturing operation includes
precision cutting, drilling, bending, machining and welding steel for
component parts. Our bridge operation involves steel
layout, fitting and welding for bridge girders.
ISC has over 200 employees in two facilities. The
historic plant in Gary Indiana is 1.6 million square feet and the newly
constructed facility in Hodgkins Illinois is 160,000 square feet.
